Here’s my list.

Sharing our personal stories is as powerful for ourselves as it is for others.
It’s easy to see that sharing something we’ve been through could have a positive impact on someone else.
That it has the ability to shift their perspective, offer them hope, permit them to release what no longer serves, and a host of other things.
Usually, we focus so much on what we want our stories to do for others, we overlook the power telling our story has on ourselves.
Writing our story has the power to:
- Reach a new level of healing
- Empower us to own all of our experiences
- Discover more about ourselves
- Liberate us from the past
- Transform the way we see who we were and who we are
That’s just the shortlist.
When you consider the benefits of telling your story, I challenge you to consider not just how your story will impact others, but how it will impact you.
You deserve the power of your story as much as everyone else.
Be brave, be you,
Ally
