a.k.a. How to live with no regrets

Permission—that’s what you need.
And a little bit a bravery. Here’s something that helped me and I’m gifting it to you…
Dear Self,
I give you permission to explore your idea of writing a memoir—today, not someday.
You only get to live once. So do the things that interest you and that make you feel alive. Do the things that will leave you saying at the end of your life, “I have no regrets.”
Who cares what people say? Who cares what others think? We know that you’ve got something to say and share. Something important.
So the question isn’t “Who am I to…” but “Why not me?”
Go for it. Learn more about what it means to be an author. Practice your writing. Investigate your memoir idea. There’s nothing to lose, but a whole lot to gain. I believe in you.
Love,
Me
…Write this down, make it yours, and pin it to your desktop or mirror. Because our memoir deserves to be written and we don’t need permission from anyone but ourselves.
It’s time to start the journey.
Be brave, be you,
Ally
