Your Story is the Light We Need

You feel that nudge, right? That tap to write a memoir?

To share a part of your life story with the world?

To turn your past pain into purpose?

To be a beacon of light and hope for someone else through your story?

And yet…

You doubt the worth of your story…

You’re unclear what you’re trying to say because it feels too big…

You’re uncertain if what you’ve been through could really matter to someone else…

Let me show you how to put those fears to rest and choose to bravely honor your story.

In this hands-on, interactive workshop, you’ll discover and explore the three critical points that make up your Memoir’s Compass:

Motivation

Mission

Message

Your ‘Why.’ What do you hope telling your story will do for you?

Your ‘Who.’ In what ways do you hope your story will serve others?

Your ‘What.’ What wisdom are you sharing with the world?

These foundational “anchors” provide the guidance you need to
ignite your story’s meaning, purpose, and impact. No more getting lost in the possibilities. No more comparing to what’s already been done before. No more doubting yourself or the call to share your story.

Just you and your story, laser-focused and making clear, confident, and controlled decisions.

Your Memoir’s Compass can guide you on your path from blank page to publication and from prior pain to powerful purpose.

Make No Mistake, You Belong Here

This is perfect for you if you identify as:

  • Silenced or unseen
  • A beautiful human
  • Self-aware and reflective
  • Determined to positively impact the world around you
  • In search of greater truths and understanding of your lived experience
  • Called, touched, tapped, nudged to tell a part of your life story

All while feeling:

  • Terrified and excited by the idea of putting your story out there
  • Uncertain of what purpose writing your story has for you or others
  • Overwhelmed by the spark of your idea because it feels so huge
  • Doubtful of how it might be impactful or relevant to future readers
Three Women Looking at Magazine

What if you could KNOW, without doubt, fear, or hesitation, that…

Your story has purpose…

Your story will make impact…

(and most importantly)

Your story already has people who need to hear it

as much as you need to write it.

If you got goosebumps just reading these words consider that your body’s signal to you.

A signal you’re in the right place right time in your journey to take this next step.

And that’s all it takes…One small intentional step at a time.

Just One. Small. Step.

Hit the button. Take the step. I believe in you.

Hey, friend,

I’m an award-winning author, international memoir coach and developmental editor, and the founder/CEO of The Write Place, Right Time.

I’m also a native Vermonter, practicing feminist, recovering middle child, wannabe superhero, and a mom who’s pretty sure I’m just “winging” it most of the time.

I’m here to witness the transformational enlightenment that happens when you honor your life experiences through memoir.

I’m here to elevate the silenced and unseen and empower them to share their stories of hope, grit, and triumph.

Because I deeply believe that when we write our stories, we activate our healing and when others read them, we activate theirs’.

I know YOUR STORY will light up your world and ours. I’m here to believe in you and what you have to share until you believe in it, too.

See you inside the workshop.

Xo,

Ally
